editor-iconI hope you all are having a good Summer in spite of the HOT weather.  July has been busy for me with four big Drum & Bugle Corps shows I attended:  one in Murfreesboro, one in Atlanta, and two in Houston TX.  I made a four-day trip to Houston to see the two shows and visit my dear friend Antonio, who put me up.  I also had a delightful Sunday brunch with fifteen members of the Houston branch of Prime Timers. This was arranged by my friends John and Reza , a couple who visited Nashville in May for a vacation.  They called me for some info as what to do here, and we ended going to a two-hour lunch at my favorite Mexican spot. John is on the Houston board of Prime Timers, and when he found out I was going to visit Antonio, he invited us both to join them for the brunch. This is what is so great about our group -- meeting men from other chapters. I met some very nice men at the Las Vegas Regional I attended in early May.

Our group is going through some organizational changes. We are looking for a monthly newsletter editor and an events co-ordinator. If any of you are interested in either position please contact me for more details. We are growing and we need to fill these positions to continue to grow smoothly.  Also we have made some major changes on our web site www.tnprimetimers.org and I strongly encourage you all to check it out and also register while there to get all that the web site has to offer you.  This is where you can find out what and when our various activities occur. The calender gives you an overview of what we are up to for the whole month.
